The purpose of couples therapy is to create a stronger connection between partners in a committed relationship, whether dating, engaged, married, or remarried. Couples often become stuck in negative patterns of interacting that erode communication, intimacy, and emotional connection. Our goal at Glen Haven is to help couples escape these destructive patterns and engage in healthier communication and deeper emotional connection. At the end of therapy, couples experience less conflict, greater understanding of one another, and a more secure connection.
